With the Redux 6, Fir Audio introduces a new reference-grade in-ear monitor designed with a clear focus on precision, control, and technical refinement. Building on the foundation of the Xenon 6 and the limited-edition Radon 6, the Redux 6 represents a decisive step forward—both sonically and mechanically—at the very top of Fir Audio’s lineup.
The housing is machined entirely from aluminum and finished in dark nickel plating, giving the Redux 6 a substantial, solid feel and excellent structural integrity. Its distinctive “Stardust” faceplate is protected by sapphire glass, combining industrial character with refined detailing. The overall design is intentional, durable, and unmistakably premium.
HDX – High Driver Crossover Technology
At the core of the Redux 6 lies Fir Audio’s new HDX (High Driver Crossover) Technology. Instead of operating the dual high-frequency drivers in parallel, HDX integrates them into a true crossover network. This approach results in a smoother, more coherent treble response with improved extension, resolution, and tonal balance. Fine details remain clearly audible, yet are presented in a natural and controlled manner—free from glare or artificial emphasis.
Atom XR – Modular Acoustic Tuning
The Atom XR module system is a newly developed, more compact and robust evolution of Fir Audio’s pressure-relief and tuning concept. The updated modules feature a secure locking mechanism and are easy to install or remove. Atom XR allows users to fine-tune the acoustic response to personal preferences or different listening environments, without compromising durability or fit. The system is available for both Universal and Custom IEM versions.
Premium Accessories and Build Quality
The Redux 6 ships with a newly designed premium cable inspired by the Radon 6, featuring robust, sharply defined hardware and a balanced 4.4 mm termination. Matching “Stardust” accents at the Y-split underline the cohesive design language.
Included accessories also comprise a high-quality leather carrying case, as well as both liquid silicone and foam ear tips.
For Custom IEM versions, Fir Audio introduces Rigid Connector Technology, featuring a locking IPX connector with memory wire, while maintaining compatibility with standard IPX cables.
