The Fostex TH900mk2 Closed Audiophile Headphones elevate the listening experience with a host of advanced features and premium materials. As an upgrade to the highly acclaimed TH-900, the TH900mk2 introduces a detachable cable connector, allowing for easy replacement and upgrade to balanced connections. These headphones are equipped with uniquely designed Neodymium magnets combined with a magnetic repulsion system, offering enhanced dynamic range and precise sound reproduction.
The TH900mk2 features a proprietary "Biodyna" diaphragm made from bio-cellulose fiber, which provides twice the propagation velocity and five times the rigidity of conventional plastic film-based driver units. This results in exceptionally high-resolution sound reproduction. The housings are finished with traditional Japanese "Urushi" lacquer by a 110-year-old artisan group, giving them a luxurious Bordeaux finish on Japanese Cherry Birch. The protein leather ear pads, made from eggshell membrane, ensure maximum comfort for extended listening sessions.
These headphones come with a 3-meter detachable unbalanced cable made of 7N grade (99.99999%) Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC), housed in a highly durable duralumin plug case. The TH900mk2 is compatible with the optional ET-H3.0N7BL balanced cable for those who prefer a balanced connection with their headphone amps. Additionally, the headphones include a stand and carrying bag for convenient storage and transport.
