Wadax Atlantis Reference Transport System
Wadax Atlantis Reference Transport System is a high-end optical disc transport engineered for precise, bit-accurate playback of CD, SACD, DVD-Audio and Blu-ray Pure Audio discs. At its core is the proprietary THOR 1.3 optical mechanism, developed with advanced FEA simulation to minimise vibration, electromagnetic interference and mechanical instability during disc reading, while its motorised vertical top-loading system provides precise disc handling. The Atlantis Transport features native SACD and PCM playback, with standard RCA S/PDIF and XLR AES-EBU outputs for integration with any DAC, plus a proprietary Wadax Link connection for bit-perfect DSD transmission to the Atlantis DAC. Its sophisticated architecture includes a dedicated power supply with two custom transformers, 10 custom circuit boards, five motors, advanced clocking and vibration-monitoring technology, as well as upgradeable hardware and software. Designed as a reference-grade digital source, the Atlantis Transport combines precision optical reading, advanced mechanical isolation and sophisticated digital architecture for an exceptionally accurate and refined disc playback experience.
Wadax Atlantis Reference Power Supply for Reference Server / Transport
Wadax Atlantis Reference Power Supply for Reference Server / Transport is an ultra-high-performance external power supply designed to provide exceptionally clean and stable DC power for Wadax Reference Server and Transport systems. Engineered around an advanced, mechanically damped tripartite chassis, it uses internal separation, sophisticated circuit topology and carefully selected components to minimise electrical, mechanical and acoustic noise. Its DC output achieves an exceptionally low RMS noise level of less than 100 nV (0.01 Hz–20 kHz) under full load, while its design also addresses load-dependent linear and non-linear distortion that can affect digital audio performance. Drawing on Wadax’s experience with the power supply architecture of its Reference DAC, the unit incorporates nearly 1,500 components, advanced grounding techniques and reversed electrical phase at the input. Built specifically to complement the Reference Server and Transport, the Reference Power Supply is designed to maximise the performance, stability and musical fidelity of high-end digital playback systems.
Wadax Atlantis Reference Server
Wadax Atlantis Reference Server is a flagship digital music server engineered to deliver uncompromising performance from both locally stored and streamed high-resolution music. Developed using the same engineering philosophy as the Atlantis Reference DAC, it combines an ultra-quiet, heavily regulated multi-stage power supply with extensive mechanical and electrical isolation to protect delicate digital data from external interference and internally generated noise. Its precision-machined chassis is constructed from more than 50 aluminium components, using over 150 kg of high-spec aluminium alloy and a sophisticated mechanical cascade to control vibration and structural energy. The Reference Server features Wadax’s proprietary Digital Waveform Control (DWC), allowing users to fine-tune USB signal rise-time, amplitude and return-channel spacing, while its MusIC Chip 2 technology provides advanced feed-forward error correction. It also incorporates the proprietary AKASA optical interface, developed with specialist Japanese optical engineers and Neutrik, for high-performance data transfer between compatible Wadax components. With more than 200 components across 12 proprietary circuit boards and integrated Roon browsing, the Atlantis Reference Server is designed to combine exceptional digital engineering with seamless access to high-resolution music libraries and streaming services.
Wadax Atlantis Reference DAC System
Wadax Atlantis Reference DAC System is a flagship digital-to-analogue conversion system engineered to deliver an exceptionally precise and natural musical performance. Developed through more than a decade of Wadax research into noise, timing accuracy and digital artefacts, the Reference DAC incorporates proprietary musIC feed-forward error correction, which operates in the time domain to compensate for linear and non-linear errors introduced during digital conversion. Its ultra-quiet, physically isolated dual-mono power supply uses 10 custom-wound transformers, six stages of cascaded AC regulation and more than 30 local regulation stages, achieving a total noise level of just 0.5 microvolts (1 Hz–100 kHz). The three-chassis design physically separates the left and right channels and isolates power supply components from sensitive signal-processing circuitry, while the modular architecture uses 23 individual circuit boards to allow future upgrades and technology updates. With support for a wide range of digital sources, including Atlantis Transport, Atlantis Server, network sources and Bluetooth, plus MQA compatibility and adjustable balanced XLR outputs, the Atlantis Reference DAC is designed as a highly adaptable centrepiece for a no-compromise digital audio system.
Wadax Akasa DC Reference Cable
The WADAX Akasa DC Reference Cable is a premium DC power cable engineered to preserve the exceptionally low-noise power generated by WADAX external power supplies as it reaches a compatible DAC or server. Using a long-crystal silver/gold alloy conductor, specialised metallurgy, carefully calculated conductor geometry and insulation, and a custom connector with layered materials and critical damping, the cable is designed to minimise electrical, mechanical, and externally induced noise. Every aspect of its construction is focused on maintaining the purity and stability of the DC power supply, helping ensure that the connected audio electronics receive the cleanest possible power.
Wadax Dual Optical Module and Cable
The WADAX Dual Optical Module and Cable is an advanced all-optical connection system designed to transmit audio data, control, and clocking information entirely as light, providing far-field galvanic isolation between devices and eliminating electrical coupling, ground loops, and noise crosstalk. Featuring specialised optical materials with flat dispersion, ultra-high native optical transmission, precise sample alignment to 10.17 ns, and a CNC-machined 25-element resonance-control structure, Akasa is engineered to preserve signal integrity regardless of cable length. When paired with the WADAX Reference DAC and Akasa Dual Optical Module, it provides the ultimate optical connection for uncompromised high-end digital audio performance.
