MoFi’s record label invests in the research and development of audio technology, setting audiophile standards across the industry. All albums are remastered from the original analogue master tapes, without compression, and minimal equalisation.

Introducing MoFi

MoFi is short for the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. If you’ve been around a long time, you will recall this as the company that, from 1977, produced superb half-speed-mastered LPs of classic albums under the label “Original Master Recording”, and later remastered it produced remastered CDs.

Given that vinyl origin, MoFi also offers a range of excellent record preservations and cleaning solutions. Perhaps the most important? Replacing the flimsy inner sleeves – they’re usually wrinkled and potentially damaging to the record – with quality inner sleeves.

And don’t forget, you’ll need a cartridge alignment tool, also available from MoFi.
